The Callaway FT-i driver has a square head with full carbon body technology meaning extra weight savings over a titanium head. By using a lightweight carbon body that weighs only 42g, the Callaway FT-i has been able to push as much weight as possible into the far corners of the head, dramatically increasing the club’s ability to resist twisting on off-centre hits and thus increase the Moment of Inertia (MOI) for straighter drives. The Callaway FT-i’s square shape allows weight to be located outside the weighting zone of a traditional driver. With help from designers at BMW, Callaway were able to make this radical complex clubhead look appealing by merging the crown into the back of the club head like a car bonnet. The Callaway FT-i driver face actually twists on two axes when shots are hit, so by controlling the amount the club rotates around its centre of gravity, Callaway produced an extremely robust head. Extra weight is also located in the heel, to help square the face at impact. This means that shots that are hit away from the centre of the clubface still go straight.
Flex: Regular or stiff
Fusion Technology pushed to the extreme
Designed to be the world’s straightest driver, the FT-i Driver is Fusion Technology pushed to the extreme, creating golf’s most Complete Inertial Design. To exploit Fusion Technology—our weight-shifting science that uses multiple materials in clubhead construction—the design demanded a new shape. The FT-i Driver pushes the boundaries of shape, of our imagination, of the rules.
460cc Complete Inertial Design
Positions discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, raising the moment of inertia (MOI) for unparalleled resistance to twisting both horizontally and vertically, providing forgiveness on shots hit all over the face.
Carbon Composite Body
The material used to make the body is significantly lighter than titanium, allowing Callaway Golf engineers to move discretionary weight where it is needed most, resulting in better stability and distance.
CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face
Modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in our largest most robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.
OptiFit Weighting System
Enables golfers to customize their driver by giving them three different center of gravity (CG) locations to choose from in most lofts: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade; Neutral for maximum workability; or Fade for promoting a fade or reducing a hook/draw.

The Newport 2 Studio Style was literally born on Tour and the design has been used by some of the best players in the world. The success and winning reputation of the Newport 2 design is undeniable and this success is carried over into the Studio Style series. Scotty is constantly refining and the Newport 2 Studio Style gets even better in 2005 with a German Stainless Steel (GSS) insert originally made for the PGA Tour winning Red X. In 2005 Scotty incorporates a distinctive GSS inlay, surrounded and cushioned by a hi-tech polymer, into Studio Stainless, giving the Studio Style Newport 2 optimal putter to player feedback. The Studio Style Newport 2 has a flat front neck that is in line with the topline and a wider body from front to back from previous years. The 1/4 toe hang gives the putter ideal balance and optimal toe flow. There is a single sightline for alignment and the soft beaded mist finish on the topline and flange eliminates glare while the insert is milled for a striking contrast. The new look of the Studio Style putter line promotes confidence with feel and performance that is distinctly Scotty Cameron.

The story behind a flatter shape
Callaway Golf engineers designed the Big Bertha 460 Driver with a shallower face, flatter shape and the highest moment of inertia (MOI) ever in a Callaway Golf all-titanium head. That means longer and straighter ball flight on off-center shots.
Stretched Head Design
460cc head volume and shallower face inspire confidence at address. The wider head shape produces the highest MOI ever in a Callaway Golf all-titanium head, resulting in increased stability and straighter drives. A deeper center of gravity (CG) offers higher overall trajectory and helps get the ball airborne.

Correct Alignment Stripe
Works in conjunction with the Chevron logo, allowing golfers to consistently square the club face at address to ensure correct alignment.
CT/VFT Face Design
Modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in a more robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face
